  • Do I need to have experience or prior artistic achievements?
    No! There is a pottery painting technique to suit every person. Our skilled staff members are available to help you find your artistic groove!
  • Do I need to make an appointment before coming in to paint pottery?
    Walk-ins are always welcomed, up to an hour before store closing, provided there is available space.
  • Do you offer custom parties?
    Yes! We look forward to working with you to plan the perfect party! Please call (603-526-1222) or e-mail (info@thecreationplacenh.com) to set up your event.
  • What types of classes do you offer?
    We offer a wide variety of classes, including special pottery painting techniques, canvas painting, sign painting, and more! Please see upcoming classes on the Classes page of the website.   • Where are you located?
    We are located in Baynham's Marketplace at 207 Main Street, New London, NH 02357. Entrance is at the rear of the Tucker's building.
  • Do you have parking?
    There is shared parking at the Marketplace and along Main Street.
  • Do you have a restroom?
    Yes! There are shared facilities in the Marketplace.
  • How old do I need to be to paint pottery?
    Painters from 3 to 103 years young can enjoy this activity!
  • What types of pottery are availble to paint?
    We have a huge variety of items to paint -- from figurines to decor, kitchen ware and serving items, banks, sport-themed and animal-themed objects!
  • Can I eat and drink from fired pottery pieces?
    All of our glazes are food-safe and top-rack-dishwasher-safe. Hand-washing may be preferable, due to the special nature of your masterpiece!
  • What is resin art?
    Beautiful and unique hand-created objects of art made by Christine Donovan. Fluid epoxy resin is pigmented and moved using a blow torch and/or heat gun, before hardening into its final form. A selection is available for purchase at the studio, with some pieces being re-purposed from found objects -- a great way to breathe new life into a piece rather than throwing it away!
  • Can I commision resin art or custom signs?
    Yes! Christine would love to work with you to create the perfect piece! Please call Christine (603-526-1222) or email (info@thecreationplacenh.com) to plan your custom artwork.
  • When can I pick up my finished pottery?
    Your creation will be available to take home in 7 days, after it is carefully fired in our kiln.
